I am a physicist who has recently joined the visual effects community. I come to the field with a strong background in the computer simulation of complex systems. As physics based computer simulation is now at the forefront of the vfx, I find many compelling opportunities to apply my expertise in this exciting environment.

Because of my background, I have specialised in "dynamics" - in particular, fluids and particles in Maya - where my research experience is a valuable asset. With my training in programming simulations, I naturally tend towards writing MEL scripts; furthermore, since I am proficient using C++, I plan to create applications using the Maya API.
